Vocal For Vietnam is a combination of personal and academic blog posts, with a mission of correcting common misconceptions of Vietnam in general and other aspects more specifically, all while revealing unknown facets of Vietnam.

As someone who has spent most of her childhood away from my home country, I wasn't well-informed about my own nation's cultures and traditions. As a result, I have held some of these misconceptions before, and I realize how my wrong assumptions and judgements have affected my expectations and experiences.

 

I strongly believe that unclouded judgement and objective impartiality are necessary when undertaking new experiences and learning about the world around us. Culture and the world around us are much bigger and more unique than we suppose, so to broaden our horizons, we must keep an open mind.

With a passion for exploring the Vietnamese culture and lifestyle, I hope Vocal For Vietnam can​ bring the most authentic image of Vietnam closer to both Vietnamese people and friends all over the world.
